Where are you on your SAP transformation journey?

Every transformation follows a journey. Few follow a straight line. Limelight supports organisations at three critical stages — from programme start-up through to post go-live improvement.

Wherever you are, Limelight can help.

A SAP transformation is not a single event — it is a journey with distinct stages, each with its own challenges and its own critical success factors.

Most organisations underestimate how much support they need at each stage. Limelight has built structured accelerators for all three stages — so wherever you are on the journey, there is a defined, deliverable-led engagement designed specifically for your situation.

Where are you on your transformation journey?

Limelight supports organisations at three critical stages, using proven accelerators designed to deliver momentum and control. Select the one that best describes your situation.

I'm preparing to start an SAP transformation

You've recognised the need. Now you need to make sure the foundations are right before you commit serious time, money, and reputational risk to a delivery programme. Limelight's RunFast Launchpad gets you transformation-ready in eight to twelve weeks — business case, scope, SI selection, and governance in place before implementation begins.

My SAP programme is already in delivery

You have an SI engaged and delivery is underway. The challenge is making sure the programme stays on track, the SI is properly governed, and the business is keeping pace with the technical delivery. Limelight provides client-side programme leadership and independent assessment — depending on what your programme needs most.

My SAP programme has gone live and I want to improve it

Go-live is behind you. Now the challenge is sustaining the value — embedding adoption, building internal capability, and making sure the investment keeps delivering. Limelight's post go-live accelerators help organisations get more from SAP long after the programme team has left.

FAQs.
How do I know which stage of the journey I'm at?

If you haven't engaged an SI yet — you're at the starting stage. If you have an SI engaged and delivery is underway — you're in the delivery stage. If your programme has gone live — you're in the perfecting stage. If you're unsure, a conversation with Limelight will tell you quickly.

The three stages map to three distinct situations. Starting — you know you need a SAP transformation but haven't committed to an SI or a programme structure yet. Delivering — you have an SI engaged and implementation is underway, but you're not confident the programme is properly governed or on track. Perfecting — your programme has gone live but the value isn't fully materialising, or you want to build the internal capability to keep improving. Most organisations can identify their stage quickly. If you genuinely can't, a short conversation with a Limelight director will clarify it.

Can Limelight help at more than one stage?

Yes — and many organisations work with Limelight across multiple stages. Starting with Launchpad, moving into Transformation for delivery, and then RunCentre or RunBetter after go-live is the most complete journey. But each accelerator also works as a standalone engagement.

Limelight's accelerators are designed to work individually or in sequence. Some organisations engage Limelight at the start and stay with them through go-live and beyond. Others come to Limelight mid-programme when they've identified a gap in governance or change management. Others engage post go-live to recover value that has started to erode. There is no obligation to use more than one accelerator — the right combination depends entirely on where you are and what your programme needs.

What is the first step to working with Limelight?

A conversation. No pitch, no proposal until it makes sense. We will ask the right questions and tell you honestly which stage you're at and which accelerator applies — including if we think you need something different from what you've asked for.

Every Limelight engagement starts with a structured sixty to ninety minute conversation with a senior director. We will listen to where you are, ask the questions that matter, and give you an honest view of what we think. If a specific accelerator is clearly the right fit, we will tell you why and what that looks like in practice. If we think you need something different, we will tell you that too. There is no commitment required and no proposal until the conversation has established that one makes sense.
