A global business transformation, facilitated using SAP S/4HANA, designed to enable the delivery of key corporate strategic goals and prepare Mundipharma for the next digital era.
Mundipharma had embarked on a large scale global business transformation with a view to setting themselves up for growth in the digital economy. This involved standardising across global business units, consolidating 36 legacy ECC systems, adopting best practices and centralising key activities, all facilitated by the deployment of SAP S/4HANA.
The engagement with Mundipharma started with a review and audit of progress to date - as the executive team were concerned on progress. The Limelight team swifty responded, provided actionable insights and direction and then were asked to lead the Mundipharma team through several of its build and deployment milestones.
With an entirely offshore systems integrator and starting 8-months behind the rest of the programme, this was not going to be a simple transformation programme. 12 months later, the global template was complete, and the first wave deployed, creating the bedrock from which Mundipharma now operate.
Further wave releases, notably into highly complex and regulated environments (like China and Brazil), shifted the entire Globe onto a common operating model, enabling the company to take advantage of Global economies of scales and a singular target operating model.
This first success wouldn’t have been possible without the competence, team spirit and engagement of the Limelight team.
