As a company, we get many questions centred around ‘when is the right time for me to switch to HANA?’ or ‘What will HANA do for me?’. Clearly, the answer is not straightforward. It is unique for each customer and depends on various business strategies, goals and sometimes industries. It is a relatively significant investment and ultimately is tied to the vision business leaders have for the organisation.
Clearly, there is no textbook answer to the question, but the video below gives a flavour of what one ‘might’ be able to achieve in migrating to the new platform. Personally, I am not normally a big fan of videos from SAP as they tend to be too sales orientated. However, this is a relatively good overview of HANA technology and how it can as add insight and advantage to your business.
